Founder's Day 2021

Saturday, March 13, 2021 the City of Cooper City will temporary close the roadway on both the North and Southbound lanes of Palm Avenue between Stirling Road and the Eastern entrance to the Suellen H. Fardelmann Sports Complex for the entirety of the fireworks display. The road closure will approximately take place from 7:45PM – 8:00PM.


Founder’s Day - Tickets are FREE! Register now through March 10, 2021 & Residents may register for more than one concert night.

Cooper City is excited to announce that Founder’s Day is back.  Registration is required to attend the concert and will be limited to 500 Cooper City residents. Proof of residency will be required at the time of registration. Guests will also be provided a ticket at time of registration that will be required for entry. Following each concert will be a firework display. Space is limited for this free event and registration will be first come, first serve.

Additionally, we will be hosting the Founder’s Day Parade the morning of March 13 at the Suellen H. Fardelmann Sports Complex. The parade is general admission, and will have socially distanced viewing areas for guests.

Concert Date:

Saturday, March 13, 2021 – Shane Duncan Band (Southern Rock)

Concert Time: Gates open at 4:30PM.

Band Performance Time: 5:30PM – 7:45PM

Parade Date: Saturday, March 13, 2021

Parade Time: 11:30AM

Concert & Parade Location: Suellen H. Fardelmann Sports Complex (10300 Stirling Road).

Register by March 10, 2021 or based upon availability.

Concert will be for Cooper City residents only. Proof of residency will be required at time of registration (license and water bill).

Residents can register at the Community Center or the Pool & Tennis Center.

No Alcohol, No Pets, No Glass Containers, No Smoking, No Tents will be permitted on event site.

No Food or Drinks will not be for sale at event.

All guests attending must wear a facemask.
