Traffic Advisory: Congestion Expected in the Area of Cooper City High School

Periods of heavy traffic are expected on Monday, December 6, through Friday, December 10, along Stirling Road between Palm Avenue and SW 90 Avenue.

Traffic congestion is expected specifically during dropoff (approximately 7-7:40 AM) and dismissal time (approximately 2:30-3:30 PM) at Cooper City High School. Traffic may also be affected along the southern portion of SW 90 Avenue, especially in the area of Pioneer Middle School.

All Cooper City High School parents and students should be aware that they will not be able to utilize the Cooper City Church of God parking lot during dropoff and dismissal from December 6-10.  The church has graciously helped Cooper City High School prevent heavy traffic along this corridor of Stirling Road, by allowing traffic to pass through its parking lot.  However, the church's parking lot will be undergoing scheduled maintenance from December 6-10 and will not be accessible.

All drivers should plan accordingly and, if possible, avoid the area during the affected times in this one-week period.
