Cooper City Issues Precautionary Boil Water Advisory for Cooper City Plaza
July 22, 2024

The City of Cooper City is committed to providing safe, clean water to its residents. Florida Administrative Code mandates the issuance of a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory under certain operating conditions.
Based on the requirements of the Florida Administrative Code, the City of Cooper City has issued a Precautionary Boil Water Notice for all businesses within Cooper City Plaza, which is located at the intersection of Griffin Road and Palm Avenue, starting Monday, July 22, 2024 (see the accompanying map). This advisory has been issued due to a water main break where water service was interrupted, and water pressure dropped below 20 PSI, within the affected service area.
Therefore, as a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes must be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient.
This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect for a minimum of 48 hours, until the bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. We will notify businesses of the cancellation (rescission) of this advisory.
