Please be advised that there will be a training scenario in process with heavy police presence and simulated gunfire near Embassy Creek Elementary on Monday, August 1, 2022 beginning at 2:00 PM.
Our local deputies will be participating in a simulated exercise to ensure their readiness in response to a critical incident.
There will be a lane closure on August 1, 2022, as our local deputies conduct this training exercise at Embassy Creek Elementary School. The westbound lane of SE Lake Blvd., along with the north sidewalk of the roadway, will be closed from 1:00 PM to approximately 9:00 PM on August 1. BSO has set up signage to alert residents and drivers. Residents of Embassy Trace and The Trellises can access their homes by going eastbound on SE Lake Blvd. via Hiatus Road. Residents of the aforementioned communities will be able to leave their neighborhoods by using the eastbound lane of SE Lake Blvd. and accessing Embassy Drive.
