Precautionary Boil Water Notice Issued for 11 Homes in Rock Creek

A PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE has been issued for eleven (11) residences located on Sands Way within the Rock Creek community in Cooper City, due to a watermain break. The boundary of the impacted area is shown within the attached image.
Cooper City Utilities is working to repair the damaged watermain, located along Stonebridge Parkway, near Sands Way, within Rock Creek. The cause of the break is unknown at this time.
The Precautionary Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until drinking water test results pass for two consecutive days. The City will notify affected residents when the Precautionary Boil Water Notice has been lifted. The affected residents are advised to boil all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. Bottled water may be used as an alternative. Water may be used for bathing, lawn irrigation and other non-consumptive uses during this precautionary 48-hour period.
