City of Cooper City Begins Roadway Improvements, Mostly Within Rock Creek

A milling and resurfacing project is underway in Cooper City's southwest section, mostly encompassing neighborhoods within the Rock Creek community.

In partnership with its contractor, the City of Cooper City’s Utilities Department began milling and resurfacing during the week of April 28, 2025.  A map indicating the streets being paved is below; all roads shown in red will be completed as part of this project. 

Residents may experience temporary lane closures, construction noise, and heavy equipment as work progresses. Access to driveways and local streets may be briefly limited during specific project phases. Cooper City has provided a map of the impacted streets, available at the Rock Creek office for residents to review and on the City’s website. 

These roadway upgrades are part of the City’s ongoing efforts to enhance the safety, accessibility, and quality of neighborhood infrastructure.
