The City of Cooper City is committed to providing safe, clean water to its residents. Florida Administrative Code mandates the issuance of a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory under certain operating conditions.

Based on the requirements of the Florida Administrative Code, the City of Cooper City has issued a Precautionary Boil Water Notice for Learning in Motion Preschool, which is located at 10945 Stirling Road in Cooper City. This advisory has been issued due to a water main break where water service was interrupted, and water pressure dropped below 20 PSI, within the affected service area.

Following multiple attempts to clamp the 16-inch water main, the pipe was unable to maintain necessary pressure. Crews have been forced to take the main out of service and replace a portion of the pipe. Due to the water main being taken out of service, a precautionary boil water order was put in place for Learning in Motion Preschool. No other homes or businesses are affected by this break.

We advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes at the affected location must be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient.

This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect for a minimum of 48 hours, until the bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. We will notify businesses of the cancellation (rescission) of this advisory.
