Field Status
The City of Cooper City operates and maintains three sports complexes, which offer a variety of fields and uses. Below, please see the status for the fields at each of our sports complexes. This information is updated daily, Monday through Friday. If you have questions or concerns regarding field use, scheduling, or current field conditions, please call 954-434-4300 ext. 402.
Our sports complexes are open Monday-Friday, from 8 AM to 10 PM and weekends from 8 AM to 9 PM.

Bill Lips Sports Complex
Multipurpose Fields (1 & 2)
Closed for renovation. All lights will remain off at night while renovation occurs. Please call 954-434-4300 ext. 402 if you require further information.
Softball Fields
Softball fields are closed for maintenance until April 1, 2025. All softball field lights will remain off at night while maintenance occurs. For field permitting availability, please call 954-434-4300 ext. 402.

Flamingo West Park
Fields are open for play and permitting from 8 AM to 5:30 PM . Fields are closed to the general public Monday-Friday, 5:30 – 9:15 PM due to recreational Soccer Programs.
Fields are open on Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 9 PM. However, field availability is subject to change due to youth programs and rentals.

Suellen H. Fardelmann Sports Complex
Multipurpose Fields (A, B, C)
Controlled usage for Cooper City Optimist Club travel practice from 5:30 PM to 9:15 PM. For field permitting availability, please call 954-434-4300 ext. 402.
Baseball Fields
All baseball fields are closed for maintenance until April 1, 2025. All baseball field lights will remain off at night while maintenance occurs.
Field 6 is closed indefinitely due to burrowing owls. Burrowing owls are a protected species in Florida and therefore our Parks and Recreation Department is in the process of following necessary steps to ensure the owls are properly relocated.
